Two-Color Screen-Printing Basics Workshop

If you are interested in learning all about two-color screen printing or want to further develop your screen-printing skills or ideas, this workshop is for you! We will utilize speedball water-based block-out stencil printmaking techniques for paper and fabric.



         Make Your Own Pair of
           Squire Leather Boots

Monday, July 15-Thursday, July 18- 9:00-5:00 (with an hour lunch break)

Tuition-$675.00 which includes all materials.

Choose from an array of leather colors to craft a unique pair of boots. Starting with basic pattern making, Molly will take students through the process of cutting, laying, and hand stitching the leather over this four-day workshop and send each student home with their own unique pair of boots. Molly Grant is a nationally known Cordwainer, (an artist that is a master working in leather and making leather boots.) who teaches this class all over the country.  This class has limited space, so sign up early!


Two-Day Stenciled Floor Cloths

Stenciled floor clothes are a part of our American history dating back to the 1700’s.  In this class, you will create two-floor clothes as you learn everything you need to know about how to create one of these functional works of art. Choose from a variety of colors and patterns to make two-floor clothes.



Introduction to Green Wood Spoon Carving

Spoon carving is a delightful pastime, accessible to all.  Working with freshly harvested green wood, participants will begin with a well-prepared kitchen spoon blank to learn the foundational grips and techniques.  There will be demonstration and direct instruction followed by hands-on practice.  All tools and materials will be provided.


Holiday Cookie Decorating

Learn the art of mixing royal icing, outlining a design, and flooding your cookie to create beautiful holiday creations.  We will decorate pumpkin and leaf-shaped cookies for the fall and snowflakes and mittens for the winter.

Create a festive evergreen holiday arrangement that will keep for weeks and can be enjoyed over the holidays.  All materials will be covered by the material fee.
