Needle-felt a Small World Pin Cushion with Diane Johnson – July 8 – 10 AM-12 PM  
Tuition $36 – Materials provided by the instructor   
Needle-felt a miniature village or landscape in a 4″ clay pot or tea cup.  You can use your finished project as a pin cushion or decorative item.  All materials and a felt kit and clay pot included.  Participants may bring their own tea cup if desired.  The wool ball with the scene can be lifted out when you want to use the tea cup.  More info.
Introduction to Mosaics with Cindy Stanton – July 14 – 9 AM-3 PM  
Tuition $42 – Materials Fee $15   
Enjoy a hands-on introduction to and exploration of mosaics! The class will include an introduction to methods for making mosaics and elements of design. Techniques and safe practices when cutting glass will be explained and demonstrated. Make and take home a 4”x4” mosaic of your own design using a wide variety of materials including vitreous glass, ceramic and mirrored tile, stained glass, millefiori, and ceramic dishware.  More Info.

Stone Chip Carving with Ellen Sidor – July 22 – 10 AM-Noon
Tuition $45 – Materials provided by the instructor
Come together and share the universal pleasure of creating something with your own hands! Shape soft stone chips into worry stones, fidgets, or tiny gifts! Study a small chip of soft stones (talc, soapstone, alabaster) and wonder what it looks like. A little shaping, a little polishing – and you can make a unique and shiny piece of art.  More Info.

Fairy Houses Family Class with Patsy Frasier – July 27 – 10 AM-Noon
Tuition $36 – Materials provided by the instructor (Bring a face mask for use while working with cement.)
Everyone needs a little whimsy in their world and this is a perfect craft to learn and share as a family.  Every student will create a tiny Fairy House for your indoor or outdoor garden.  Made with a combination of garden stones, glass baubles & cement and embellished with treasures from nature and bits of bling.  Feel free to bring along any special treasures you might want to incorporate into your creation.  Bring your kids, bring your parents for a morning of fun!  Adults, also feel free to participate on your own.   More Info.   


Handcrafted Pendant on Chain with Alice Carroll  – August 7 – 10:30 AM-4 PM  
Tuition $90 – Materials Fee $15   
During this one-day class, each student will design and fabricate a beautiful pendant to hang on a hand forged link chain.  Through demonstration and plenty of work time, students will learn the proper techniques and use of tools to create their design.  This class will cover cold connections, forging, sawing and filing.  More Info.
Drawing Animals and Nature with Kathryn Field  – August 17 – 10 AM-4 PM  
Tuition $125 – Materials Fee none
An introduction to drawing form in motion – a good family activity.  We will start at the Center Sandwich Fine Craft Gallery classroom with an introduction to drawing animals, basic geometric shapes, exploring line, shape, and form.  Then we will drive 5 minutes to a friend’s farm where we will draw goats, alpacas, and chickens.  More Info.
Needle-felt a Landscape or Pet Portrait in Wool with Diane Johnson – August 19 – 10 AM-12:30 PM  
Tuition $42 – Materials provided by the instructor.   Bring a photo of your favorite pet or a landscape. 
Needle-felt a landscape picture or portrait of your favorite pet on a 12″ x 12″ wool square.   Students can create a free-form picture, or they may bring a photo that they would like to recreate in wool, or they can customize a printed design.  All materials and a felt kit included.   The needle-felted square can be hung or framed as is; or it can be wet felted and sewn into a bag or pillow.  More Info.


Fall Silk Flower Flower Sunflower Wreath with Shirley Glines – September 8 – 1 PM-3:30 PM  
Tuition $36 – Materials Fee $30   
Celebrate the onset of fall!  In this class you’ll work with silk flowers and other decorative elements to create a beautiful fall autumn wreath.  You’ll start with silk foliage and sunflowers and learn how to add additional pieces to make the perfect wreath for your door, home or to gift to someone special.   More Info.
Painting the New England Landscape in Watercolor with Robert O’Brien –2 day Zoom Class
Sept 17-18 – 9:30 AM-Noon

This workshop will focus on the many elements found in our New England landscape. Learn how to paint skies, trees, meadows, buildings, barns and other features. Mixing colors will be explored along with wet on wet and dry brush technique. The class will start with an instructor demonstration on the first day followed by class painting on day two with a critique offered at the end of the session.  More Info.
Weaving Workshop with Sara Goodman – 5 Warps in 5 Days
September 20-24 – 9 AM-4 PM  
Tuition $400 – Materials Fee $5 for handout + cost of yarn used
This weaving intensive class meets the needs of all weaving levels from beginners to those with a lot of experience. Sara will work individually with students at their own level. Beginners will learn to put on and weave off a new warp each day. More experienced weavers can get a refresher, learn new skills or spend the 5 days working on one project with support from the instructor.  More Info.
