We will make a lovely summer wreath of meadow flowers with a grapevine wreath base and outdoor-quality faux flowers and greenery. We will also learn how to create a burlap bow to add to our wreaths as a pretty rustic accent. These wreaths sell online.
Beginner’s Cold Process Soap Making Class

Students will learn basic cold-process soap-making techniques and how to work safely with lye. They will be given a basic soap recipe and will learn where to find resources to make soap in the future. Everyone will get the opportunity to actually make soap. You will choose your own scent and color from a variety of options and customize your own bars to take home after they set.

Lip Balm and Bath Salt Making Class

Students will learn essential lip balm and bath salt-making techniques. Students will be given a basic recipe and will know where to find resources in order to make these in the future. Everyone will get the opportunity to make two lip balms and a bath salt.

Paper Quilling- 3 Projects

Students will be introduced to the art of paper quilling. Students will learn how to create some basic shapes of rolled paper to create a greeting card, a piece of jewelry (pendant or earrings), and a small 3-D plant. Materials provided by instructor: The Instructor will provide, as purchased by materials fee: quilling tool kit, glue, selection of quilling paper strips, quilling board, small selection of embellishments, card stock/envelopes, and findings for jewelry.
Introduction to Green Wood Spoon Carving

Spoon carving is a delightful pastime, accessible to all. Working with freshly harvested green wood, participants will begin with a well-prepared kitchen spoon blank to learn the foundational grips and techniques. There will be demonstration and direct instruction followed by hands-on practice. All tools and materials will be provided.

Create a beautiful holiday centerpiece. Materials that the instructor will provide: hot glue, scissors, and wire snips. Materials students will be paying for are the 24” lighted faux birch tree, feathered cardinals, ribbon, and the faux greenery and flowers. Students do not need to bring any materials with them.
