The Art of Two-Color Screen Printmaking

If you are interested in learning all about two-color screen printing or want to develop your screen-printing skills or ideas further, this workshop is for you! We will utilize speedball water-based block-out stencil printmaking techniques for paper and fabric.

 

 

 

Gel Plate Printing Techniques for Artists Workshop

This hands-on workshop will explore gel-plate techniques to create fine art prints and collage papers, image transfers, resist techniques, custom stencils, stamps, and more. Participants will be encouraged to share their techniques, information, and experience working with gel plates.

A second session will bring you back to the studio classroom for a 2-hour printing session to help you deepen your new skills using the plates you made yourself. Workshop participants will also receive a printed instruction pamphlet, resource & material guide.

 

 

Making and Printing Collagraph Plates on an Etching Press

This hands-on workshop will teach you how to create collagraph plates for printing on an etching press using Akuna non-toxic water-soluble inks and ordinary and found materials. You will create prints from your plate using the Gallery’s etching press. You will also learn to use a professional artist etching press safely. The instructor will provide all the materials you need for this workshop.

After the class, you will create plates at home and return to the studio for a 2-hour printing session to help you deepen your new skills using the plates you made yourself. Workshop participants will also receive a printed instruction pamphlet, resource & material guide.
